The Battle Arms Development XIPHOS^® AR-9 Upper Receiver is a billet-machined, dedicated pistol caliber carbine upper designed specifically for AR-9 platforms. Manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in black anodizing, this upper receiver is engineered for lightweight performance while maintaining structural rigidity for PCC use.

Unlike standard AR15 uppers adapted for pistol calibers, the XIPHOS AR-9 upper is purpose-built for 9mm PCC applications. Its dedicated design eliminates features unnecessary for blowback-operated systems, resulting in a streamlined receiver optimized for pistol caliber reliability and weight reduction.

Dedicated AR-9 PCC Architecture
